Indonesian food is heavily based on Nasi ( Rice ) with vegetables, fish, and sometimes meat and egg as supplementent. Nasi can be made as a basic material for another recipe of food or that can be eaten as what it is.

Ingredients :
350g Long Grain Rice
2 Tablespoonful Vegetable Oil
3 whole Eggs
1 Onion, chopped
2 Green Chillis, Sambal Ulek or Sambal Badjak.
1 clove, Garlic
1 Leek
1 teaspoonful Ground Coriander
1 teaspoonful Ground Cumin
250g Chicken meat
250g Shelled Prawns
3 Tablespoonful Kecap Manis (soy bean sauce)
Method :
The dish is best made from cold leftover rice, but you calso cook a fresh batch and leave it to cool for about 4 hours
Beat the eggs and make into an omelette. Slice into strips and set aside.
Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan till almost smoke. Add the chopped onions, leek, garlic and the chillis.
Fry till the onion is soft and smell good. Add the Coriander and Cumin. Slice Chicken into strips and add with the prawns to the onion mixture and cook well.
Stirring occasionally till they are well combined. Add the rice, soy bean sauce and the omelette strips and cook for a further 5 minutes.
Decorate with some of the leftover leek
serve hot
