Grilled Fish Tacos

Tacos a Traditional Mexican recipe comes much tastier with so many variations of taste. This special fish tacos recipe is one of them, delicious and healthy food as well. The burn flavour from the grilled gives the fish and the tortillas a perfect taste for your family dine.

And what make this recipe more special is that you can serve the ingredients separately, and allow the people to create their own fish tacos. In Mexico taco usually serve in many ocations, or sold on streets.
Now you can try to make this mexican food your own at your home. It's an easy recipe and quick prepare.



Ingredients :


1 lb white fish ( tilapia, halibut or else )

8 flour tortillas

¼ cup canola oil

¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped

1 jalapeƱo, coarsely crushed

1 tablespoonful ancho chili powder

Juice of 1 lime

1 cup tomato salsa

Hot sauce, to serve

Sour cream, to serve


For the Garnish :

Lettuce, tomatoes, onion, chopped

shredded white cabbage, grated cheese, and corn



Cooking Direction :


Preheat the grill to medium high

Place the fish in a large dish


Mix the lime juice, ancho, oil, cilantro and jalapeno, whisk together till well combined


Pour the lime juice mixture over the fish

Leave it to marinate for 15 or 20 minutes


Transfer the fish from the marinate and to the grill

Grill flesh side down, for about 4 minutes


Turn it over, cook the other side for about 30 seconds. Set aside


Rest for 5 minutes then flake the fish using a fork.


Grill the tortillas for about 20 seconds each


Divide the fish between the tortillas

Decorate with the lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, onion, corn, cheese, pico de gallo or salsa, sour cream and hot sauce.
